FOREWORD
Hey family this one's for Grandaddy
It's been almost 6 years since we lost him (April 2020), and that year didn't exactly lend itself to honoring anyone's memory. Since then,
life got busy. We all grew up (or kept being grown up), and we free time got scarce.
But keeping Grandad's memory alive and staying connected as our family keeps growing is worth making time for (especially now that some of us are starting families of our own).
It might've been a while since you thought about those days in Washington, but we each carry a piece of him, and we've all got stories — good and "character-building" — worth sharing.
So I want to pull us together in this year of our lord and savior 2026 for a 3-day, 3-night reunion in North Carolina this late summer/fall.
Put simply: we all loved Grandaddy, we presumably still enjoy each other's company, and we can all drink now. So it'll be twice as fun as when we were kids.
To skip the chaos of planning over group texts and phone calls, this website is the single source of truth for the event.
